Oreo
is a head turning black and white with fine, silky medium
wool. Her standout attribute is “presence,”
always strutting with her long neck and head up. Although
smaller to medium sized she is one of the pasture leaders.
Her sire is the big appaloosa Hobbes, a retired herdsire
at Shangrila Farm in Virginia. Her dam had an appy female
so Oreo could throw appy cria. Unfortunately, she had a
detached placenta at eight months into her first pregnancy.
Detached placentas occur more often in first time pregnancies
and usually lead to successful terms the next time around.
She is rebred to SCR Power Spike, a tall stretchy appaloosa
herdsire at Shangrila Farm. Her due date is Fall of 2006.
Oreo is for sale. |
